We are Volunteers

The DWC membership consists of volunteers of all backgrounds, ideas, ages and spirit who, together with a large range of work groups of dedicated community members have taken DWC to new heights in its existance. This well-oiled machine is often copied but never surpassed. DWC has some wonderfully talented people taking community service concepts to the forefront of Lumkin County. This year in DWC is a major leap forward and represents the most exciting events in the history of the club.

DWC has assembled a top-notch group of women to form the officers and committee chairpersons. These women will solely focus on investigating and resolving community issues and needs. Instead of working in relative secrecy, these officers and committes chairs will need a strong public-facing presence in the Dahlonega Lumpkin County Community.

The DWC membership has about 1 million good reasons to be smiling about DWC. In its current incarnation, it's had more than 1 million thoughts, taking it to an unprecedented level of popularity. The new idea base is almost an entire re-factor of the old thoughts. The members experience is still extremely slick but for new members DWC is a dream. A proper framework for real work is the best of the best.

If you're a former DWC member, this is the future of Lumpkin County for a number of reasons. It's more powerful, more flexible, more secure, and inovative. Our members and officers have worked countless hours to make this the most exciting club in the community.

DWC makes it easy to launch a service project of any kind. Whether you want a wide coverage or a focused community, DWC allows you to create an idea and add extra service as you need it. All of the available committees will help to expand your service and allow you to participate in service projects and events that reach deep into the community.
