DWC Overview

E-mail Print PDF

If you're new to Dahlonega, you'll find that Dahlonega Woman's Club delivers opportunies to fullfil your volunteer needs. It can deliver robust opportunites and empower satisfaction. Moreover, it is often the simplist of choices that creates the largest benefit. What can you do?

So what's the catch? How much does DWC cost?

Well, there's good news ... and more good news! DWC is $45 per year - not a month! Had you invested in an alternative organization, there'd be months to pay leaving your wallet on a regular basis. Our club opportunities would probably mean only working when you want something to succed!

DWC changes all that ...
DWC is different from the normal models for community involvement. For a start, it's not complicated. DWC has been developed for every woman, and anybody can develop it further. It is designed to work with other organizations in and around Lumpkin County.

It is easy to apply and be accepted, and is rewarding. Located about an hour north of Atlanta, GA in the beautiful historic town of Dahlonega, GA, these women meet the first Thursday of each month from September through May at the community House at the corner of N. Park & Hawkins Streets.

DWC doesn't even require the member to know all the projects, it so diverse you are best used in areas you are most passionate about.

To get the perfect volunteer organization with all the opportunities that you require for your particular interest may take additional time and effort, but with all the DWC Community efforts that is available and the many partnerships with other organizations actively creating and participating in new ways to benefit others on an almost daily basis, there is likely to be something out there to meet your needs. Or you could develop your own club and make simliar opportunies available to the rest of the community. But Why?

Newsflash

DWC wants to provide many exicting opportunities to reach out to help in 2009. To support the changing nature of Lumpkin County and its emerging population, DWC requires substantial support by its core membership and we also used this resource to simplify many challenges within the current population. As in previous years, DWC provides a unified and easy-to-use framework of opportunities for contributing in all kinds of ways.
