This month’s meeting had the Arts Committee hosting, with guest speaker, Rosann Kent, from the Appalachian Studies Center. Rosann updated us on the current activities at the Center, and asked for our help and support in light of the cutbacks currently being proposed for NGCSU.

Thanks to all our members and the Arts Committee who decorated and provided the refreshments for the meeting; everything was scrumptious! DWC will be hosting and providing refreshments for the Student Art Show at the Cannery on Friday, March 19 (the date was changed from March 12). Thanks to all who signed up to help with this event. If you haven’t signed up,and would like to help or provide finger food, please let me know.

Newsflash

Yesterday all women in the U.S. went out on strike in a bid to get more satisfaction and better responses. A spokes person said that the need for better response was due to some fool increasing the front-side use of their brain. In the future, brains will be told to slow down in residential thoughts.
